I found my passion for photography when my husband Ben and I travelled the world working together as a photo/video team donating our time to small charities and non-profits. Our cameras took us to many countries including Mongolia, Thailand and the Philippines.
I have a background in event and venue management as well as marketing and gym manager within the fitness industry. We made the move to Toowoomba from Sydney in 2019 and just love it! On the weekends you'll find me at the local markets, attending park runs, out for picnics and chasing after my two girls. I am a lover of supporting the local and empowering one another to make the world a better place. We love the Darling Downs and we've found it such a warm community and the perfect place to raise our girls.

I've been a photographer for 20 years (oh man that makes me feel old). I started off as a press photographer at 18 years old. I have run a kids and families photography business (Katie Finn Photography), and I've travelled the world shooting weddings. Over time I went into teaching workshops and running photography conferences. I was honoured to have sold out workshop tours in Australia, New Zealand, Cananda and the USA. Other achievements have included speaking at international photography conferences, running photo tours in Cambodia and volunteering my time and skills to small charities in Nepal and Cambodia. More recently I worked as a photographer at the University of Southern Queensland, creating images for their local and international marketing campaigns, which sparked my interest in branding photography.
